This scholarship is offered to students under the age of 25 who are otherwise financially not able to attend training camp. The scholarship is open to any rank that meets the requirements and will cover the tuition and housing costs for training camp (this award does not include a t-shirt). Although students that have natural physical abilities are nice, this scholarships acceptance criterion is more based on candidates that show they contribute to their Dojo, have a passion to help other people, and a determination to stay with Cuong Nhu, and persevere. Brown belt candidates will also need to submit leadership attributes and assistant teaching experience. Black belt and higher candidates need to provide leadership and more advanced teaching experience where they developed a class on their own.
Nominations need to be submitted by April 15, 2017, to
cnomaa@cuongnhu.com. Recipient of the award will be notified by May 1st.
